9 YEAR-OLD WINS NATIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM BEST JUNIOR WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR!

Since 1964, the National History Museum in London has been organizing their annual Wildlife Photographer Of The Year contest. This year, the Grand title winner in Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year, which includes photographers up to 17 years of age, was Carlos Perez Naval – a 9-year-old boy from Spain.

Carlos’ love of photography started off at the young age of 4. With parents who travel constantly and bring him along, he has always occupied his time with taking pictures of animals and nature. Basically everything he saw, he shot. With each new trip came a new camera and now Carlos uses the best equipment out there.

Like any kid, Carlos does have school, so while he’s home, dreaming about the many lands out there in the world, Carlos still takes photos constantly. Of the flora and fauna in his garden and surrounding Teruel, he has thousands upon thousands of photos.

His photos below look like they were taken by a professional. That’s because Carlos is a professional.
